This recent work is inspired by the concept of a labyrinth = maze or complicated matter. I have depicted this complexity in a series of works titled: Obsessiveness in Perception. I believe that every person encounters their own labyrinth in their life.
For me, the complexity, the changeability, and the visual representation of the human body are my labyrinth. A labyrinth forms not only during the creation process but also during its presentation; it can encounter obstacles, acting like a wall. Especially in these times, where a free representation of the human body is no longer a given.
To emphasize the formation of a wall, I chose a combination of multiple panels for the form of the work.
